1. The BYOK Model
Your Keys, Your Data. We have zero access.
AuraPrompt operates on a strict BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) model. Your API keys are encrypted and stored locally within your browser's secure storage. They are never transmitted to our servers, logged, or accessible by our team. You retain full sovereignty over your credentials.
When you input your API key (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic), it is used directly from your client (browser) to the respective AI provider's API. AuraPrompt acts solely as a UI layer to facilitate this interaction. Since we do not store your keys, you are responsible for their safekeeping. If you clear your browser cache, you will need to re-enter your keys.
2. User Responsibilities
As a user of AuraPrompt, you acknowledge that you are solely responsible for the content you generate and the API usage costs incurred on your personal keys. You agree not to use the platform for:
- Generating illegal, harmful, or abusive content as defined by your AI provider's usage policy.
- Sharing your local device access with unauthorized individuals who might access your stored keys.
3. Intellectual Property
Your Content: You retain all ownership rights to the prompts you create and the outputs generated through AuraPrompt. We claim no ownership over your creative work or data.
Our Platform: The design, interface, and underlying code of AuraPrompt are the exclusive property of AuraPrompt Inc. and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
4. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
"The platform is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any API costs, data loss due to browser clearing, or the accuracy of AI-generated content."
AuraPrompt creates tools to interface with third-party AI models. We are not responsible for "hallucinations," inaccuracies, or offensive content generated by these third-party models. Users should verify all AI-generated information before use.
